i just put a target williams reciever sight and a front lyman 17 globe sight on my older marlin 1895 in 45-70. i want to try and shoot out to 300yds with it. i will post results when i get it to the range to try it. as it have ballard rifleing it should shoot cast bullets well. eastbank.
