Some good wood grips???
« on: November 07, 2010, 09:32:08 AM »
I just found out about a new wood to me;  Bastone Walnut

This company offers garand and m1a stocks in all types of wood but the bastone walnut is so awesome and he also makes 1911 wood grips too.  I think i may order some bastone walnut grips for my 1911 soon.

www.westtexasarmory.com/WTAwoodstocks.htm  This wood is awesome looking.  Wada think??

The extra fancy rifle stocks were beautiful. I didn't like the 1911 grips though. I like a nice burl or something with more character than just straight grain but that's just me.

I would like to see some made with his fancy walnut.  The set shown were made from Zebra, and that will be straight lines/
