Neck Ragz
« on: November 08, 2010, 06:34:39 AM »
Im love useing wyoming neck ragz, a cowboy type bandanna one sees allot of great plains ranchers wearing in the winter months.
They can be tailored to the weather, roll em tight as a rope for warmer weather, fluf them when its in the -30's the wind has a booger of a time getting past, there silk so if they load up with moisture take them off and snap them out like a highschool locker room towel fight they shed moisture easy and trap heat well, them WWI pilots knew there stuff, (Turtle fur takes on a set in extreeme cold they sag and you can get frost bite easy as they hold moisture next to your skin) same for other knit type neck warmers Ive seen,
Ragz in a high wind can be used bandanna robber like over your nose and cheeks, this is one handy item when rideing a snowmobile or spending any time out doors, in Blizzards we used to wear a couple. they come in all sorts of colors that fit your taste.
Get as big as you can get so you get a complete wrap to knot in front.
I had a local lady buy nylo/silk and make our own and edged with a surger type sewing machine.
