Happy Birthday
Oh, Happy Birthday

Gloom, destruction and despair
People dieing everywhere

Happy Birthday
Oh, Happy Birthday

May the cities in your wake
Burn like candles on your cake

Happy Birthday
Oh, happy birthday.

(somehow, Volga Birthday, aka the Birthday Dirge, seems to fit)

And happy Veterans' Day to those of you who served in the other US services (Army here), even if it is a day early.

Old timer?  Heck, I'm in my early 50s and I still call it Armistice Day.  (hard to believe that we are almost at the 100th anniversary of start of THAT charlie foxtrot)
