Ruger SBH Trigger Gaurd
« on: December 09, 2003, 06:02:20 PM »
Hello Everyone,

I have a super blackhawk that has the square trigger gaurd.  Is there a way to round off the trigger gaurd?  Or is this something that would just have to be replaced?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Woodrow

Some models of the SBH have a round trigger guard so I would just repace it. E-gunparts might have what you want. But why do you want to?  KN

There is no way to alter the trigger guard with any reasonable price.  The easiest thing(cheapest too) would be to replace the existing grip frame.  They are avavlable from Brownells(I really like the Bisley frame) or from Ruger.  Brownells also supplies the Ruger factory part..

I changed the trigger guard on mine because the back of the guard smacked my middle finger middle knuckle. I swapped one off a single 6...one sweet shooting sbh and one unique single 6  Eddie

Isn't it funny how some people hate the SBH trigger guard and others (myself) love them. If you guys want to sell  your Super Blackhawk grip frames let me know!
