Ruger 32's look real tempting for the wife
« on: December 10, 2003, 03:33:42 AM »
Been doing some figurin' and can get a couple of SS Ruger 32's (short grip), consecutive #s, for the wife for $400 each including shipping.   The cost of brass, Dillion coversion, mold and lube/sizer parts is another $150.  Then there's leather.  If she joins up I'm looking at Big Ed's carved rig for her (yes I know it's a bit $$ but she's worth it.)

Kinda sounded her out and showed her a picture of one.  For a change said they looked nice rather than, "Hell, no!"

Think I'll give her a "coupon" for the pair for CHRISTmas so she can decide.  Iffn I bought them before she said yes she would be a widow standing trial for murder.

Pard,

.38 Specials are cheaper to re-load and have a similar amount of percieved recoil IMHO.

Just my .02.

Correct on that but my wife's hands require the smaller guns.

And they are on order and will be here is a day or two.

Howdy CR,

If you gotta buy a pair of pistols and then throw them in the lake and THAT gets your sweetie up and shooting with you, its a flat bargain.

Take care of her and good luck..
