35 whelen value??
« on: November 12, 2010, 09:22:07 AM »
I have a chance to buy a complete 35 whelen Handi.  I have no use for it, but know some guys here that may want the pieces.  Has the black thumbhole stock.
What is a fair price for that stock and barrel??
Thanks
Jeff

really all depends on what you have in it.....and the condition of the items
the handi grip stocks sell used for around $65 +/-
and the barrel, if it falls under the recall (see tims post about the service notice)

it will be less of value if it has to go back to the factory. do you know the sku# thats printed on the original box ?
but, you might have a non-recalled barrel, like i have. and the price can go
as much as someone is willing to pay. start at $125 shipped if its in like new condition
or you can try higher $$$
