I e-mailed Dan Wesson about the Patriot Expert 45ACP regarding a questions about using target loads for Bullseye shooting.  I got a response from Bob via e-mail within 2 days with the info that I was looking for.  Now perhaps seeing how I was in the potential buying market the response was quicker.  Don't know but others have said that they are really working hard at getting it all back together.  By the way does anyone know where I can get a new factory grip for the Pistol Pack that I purchased back in the 70's.  It came with two grips and the one with the finger indentations on it got a little chewed up and I would like to replace it.  So far no luck.  I asked DanWesson in my e-mail about it and didn't receive any response regarding the grip just the Patriot info.  Maybe they don't want any ties back to the Old Dan Wesson Company??  Any help anyone can give on the grip would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Ken, On DW web site they have a like about question pertaining to the older DW's and that they have parts for them as they are the same ones they use with current DW's. They are interchangable as far as I remember.

Thanks to everyone for their responses.  At least I know I can get the grip that I need.  I think this forum is great and have found nearly all of the folks here to be friendly and helpful.  Again thanks for the information.

Original Ken,
Keep a watch on ebay, those grips come up for sale all the time. Also watch gunbroker.com and auctionarms.com for grips & barrels.
