Looking for reloading imfo for Contender

 I recently got a 12" bullberry barrel(used) chambered in 762x39 but .308 bore
and am having trouble finding load data for it. Does anyone have one that they
load for and could give me some imfo or a source for it. Would appreciate it. Thanks Fred

 ???  7.62x39 data is 7.62x39 data. Load data is the same for a handgun its just slower.  The only thing you have to contend with is using a .308 bullet instead of a .310 bullet in the same weight.   Mind you a .310 bullet will shoot out of a .308 bore but accuracy will suffer.  Early Ruger Mini-30's had the same issue of the 7.62x39 chamber on a .308 bore.

I agree, just use rifle data for the 7.62x39. Maybe focus on the faster powders for efficiency and use 308 bullets.  ;D

I have a specific CONTENDER loading manual I think its still available. But all it really is is a reprint form other peoples manuals. It just combines all the data that is Contender specific. IIRC its put out by load books. Also IIRC Cabelas carries them.

My mini is .310 and it likes imr 4198 and the 150gr.sp
