It appears to be justified with no arguing about it man pointed shotgun at officer. Big problem, Cops fired 26 rounds from no more than 30 ft and suspect was hit TWICE. that leaves 2 dozen rounds flying around maybe they need more range time or should be issues only shotguns.
the nation that forgets it defenders will itself be forgotten

I have a half dozen friends who are LEO or retired LEO and am glad that they are/were there to do the job I don't think I would like, I would want a shotgun all the time. That said, it sounds as though some range time is needed. Thats what, 7-8%, +/-, 2 rounds out of 26? I know the adrenaline flowing, maybe shooting and scooting while taking a direct line for cover but.....I fear someday marksmanship like that may come back to bite 'em. Hope not. Hate to say it but maybe a revolver would merit better marksmanship.

YA ought to see the rounds fired per hit in combat in a war zone. We fired thousands of rounds to get one hit. SOme were stress fire and some were just cover fire. It takes a very steady nerve to fire aimed (censored word) when you are being shot at. I did make 2 head shots in a row at about 10 feet, of cource that was under NVG's with unsuspecting targets.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.
