I've taken 3 sitka black-tail deer on Kodiak Island and a mountain goat from Prince William Sound using a 220 grain Hornady bullet in my 14" .375 JDJ Contender. My load is 53.0 grains of Accurate Arms 2520 powder and a WLR primer. Muzzle Velocity was 2134 fps at 20 deg. F.
*All my bullets held together well...all one shot kills (50 to 125 yards shots). What type of powders are working out for you?
