Pentax Optics ??

Thinking of getting the 4.5-14x42 they claim they are the same as a burris just wondering if anyone had one and how good they are thank you

The Pentax Pioneer and Pioneer II series are virtually the same as the Fullfield IIs. Pentax provides the glass Burris uses to build its scopes, and Burris (and/or its designated subcontractors) assembles scopes for Pentax.

If you are buying the Pentax Pioneer scope at Best Buy for $134, its a very good buy and made in Philippines.  Like previous poster wrote....same as original Burris Fullfield scope, not the Fullfield II and considered by many a better scope than Pioneer II and Fullfield II.
