Different color hulls?

What is the difference in the different color AA hulls?  I see red and grey on ebay.

The color. Otherwise they are identical. They just use different colors for some different loads to differentiate them by site.

Just the color.  BUT
Winchester has change the way they builf the AA hull over the years.

The most recent AA hull is a two piece design. The outer hull is a sleeve and a "base wad"  is inserted into the bottom of the hull and the edge of it comes up the inside wall.  Some people have had problems with some wads catching on the lip on the base wad.  I don't like them and don't use them, I prefer the Remington STS much more.

The generation before these current AA are OK, but they split early in life and  don't last as long as they should which is probably why they change it.

And the generation before that are great, I still have some and reload them a few times every year. and them are 20 years old.
