Remembering to reload is a great skill in itself. On my hog with the Topper the first slug hit just a bit low missing the heart but about took the front leg off. The empty shell would not eject and the hog was wounded. The ejector stuck...talk about bad timing! I was able to force it out, reload, and put another slug between the eyes as he began to charge. I shot from the hip and got lucky Since then I have always kept the ejector oiled and haven't had anymore problems. Great thing about these little shotguns. There aint much in Texas I haven't shot with it feather or fur. Taking it deer hunting in Dec and that will round her out for the H&R "Slam".
