Interarms Mark X
« on: November 27, 2010, 09:52:45 AM »
Hey all, just purchased a dandy Mark X in 7x57 at the local pawnshop.  Looks to be fired little, it is a Yugo, stamped manchester and alexandria.  I has an adjustable trigger, although as is is very nice, and has a camoflauge monte carlo stock.  I scored this baby for 300 OTD, and the best part is that was with a Nikon buckmasters 3-9x40 scope!  I put a order into midway for some privi partizan 139gr soft points, should arrive next week.  I'll get to the range and do a follow up report.  In the mean time here's something for you to drool over!

Very nice and good price for the package deal I might add too!

I have an Interarms Mk X as well in 7mm Remington Mag.  It doesnt get too much use these days so I have been pondering a custom rifle build off the action.  Just havent really decided what I want to chambered to.  I was thinking of expanding the existing 7mm brass I have to 35 caliber and basically creating a simple wild cat round simular to the 35 Norma Mag performance wise.

$300 withthat scope?  What a sweet deal!!!

My Interarms Mark X started out as an action-only with a Timney trigger and I stuck a Boyd JRS stock and Krieger semi-heavy 6.5-06AI barrel on it, topped wiht a Burris 4.5-14xAO Fullfiled II.  So far I've used it mostly for clay pigeons at 600 ayrds but I have taken one antelope with it.  Great gun, hope you enjoy yourls as much!
