i have a 12ush that i would like to cut the barrel down on to make a shorty out of it.what is a good lenght to go to with out messing it up.my longest shot will be 75yds,,,thanks for any help

with shots under 75yds losing energy at longer ranges isn't a concern so i would guess that 18" would be a good length
