Welcome aboard.  A Russian SKS could go for as much as $300, even more and that's just for a functional SKS.  Add in its Russian heritage, condition and matching #s and the price goes up.  Do you know the history of your rifle?  We saw a lot of those in Vietnam and SE Asia and they were much nicer than the Chinese rifles we obtained.  HTH.

There were lots of Russian made SKS and AK rifles in Vietnam.  The Russian made SKS rifles were usually found with darker wood and better fit and finish.  The Chinese rifles usually wore Maple stocks that were almost always poorly fit and less refined than the Russian rifles, but they always worked............

Right now with the sks prices climbing lately with the yugo's selling up to $299 to $399 now.   I think were between $300 to $500 on the russian/chinese sks's.  An Albanian sks just sold for $750 on one of the gun auction sites.  The albanians are more rare because of less were imported.  Its starting to be if you really want it bad your going to pay for it. We will still see the $200 to $250 sks's inbetween at gun shows and private sales. Could you post pics of the markings on the side rail?
