Tikka T3 Lite Magazine Question
« on: November 28, 2010, 03:41:17 AM »
I recently bought a T3 Lite in 7MM-08.  For some reason the clip/magazine is very hard to get locked into the gun.  Has anyone had this experience or am I doing something wrong?  I have to push very hard on it to make it clip into place and I don't want to break the plastic magazine.

Thanks

Just give a tap with the bottom of your hand- once started in the well , and it should pop in . ;D If it doesn't take it back to where you got it .
These clips are fairly strong , not "Just Plastic"

Enjoy your new rifle and welcome to the tikka owners family .

Friend had the same problem seems he tightened the action screws a bit to tight.  Never had a problem with mine.  I torque to 25 inch pounds.

They are not fragile.  I lost one for my T3 Lite and the replacement was $57 to put it in my hand.  Don't be afraid to git it a "whack" with the palm of your hand to snap it in place.
