394 pounds . Biggest truely wild hog I have ever seen that displayed no domestic traits, and I was lucky enough to have my old 1894c 357 with me.. 140 gr ftx with 19 gr of H110 and a quartering to me front shoulder shot at 85 yards. he squealed and fell then got back up and took about 3 steps before he piled up

Nice hog.  That should keep you in bacon for a while.

I sometimes wish I had better Photo Shop skills.  It would be a different picture to switch your likeness with that of the hog.  The two of you are about the same size.

Good hog.  Lotta meat.  congrats.

Congrats on the mega hog, and it sounds like you had your favorite rifle with you which makes it even better.

Good job! Didn't you know you the .357 is too light for hogs...LOL  (:  What velocity are you getting from those and how is the accuracy?
