Now that it's out..
« on: November 29, 2010, 01:17:45 AM »
Now that it's out for the world to see, we may as well read it..the classified info on Wikileaks, I mean.
   http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/29/world/29cables.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1&hp&adxnnlx=1291032019-UT1Sg1RWNsrFdQ qWKq6yA

It even has a photo of the little, queer twerp who betrayed his security clearance and his country. He should be stood against the wall..unless shooting is too good for him..

The queer who runs Wikileaks should be tried on international espionage charges also..with the same punishment. Both lowlife scums (IMO).

This time, it is the Obama admin that gets hammered by leaks. Unlike liberal lemmings, I still resent people betraying their security clearances..it is a matter of treason. Just because private Manning had access to certain information, that doesn't mean he had the right to disclose that information...AND HE KNEW IT !
I doubt the private was privy to all the info which was leaked, when I worked under a security clearance anyone who did not have "a need to know" was not given secret information. We were very careful about that, first amendment does not apply here...
No, i think it likely there are some more, civilian leakers...who should get the same punishment.

IG....Mind you I'm not too big on secrecy mandates and the secrecy culture...just another way of a closed group to run roughshod on others and fanagle strange agendi.  But what I don't get is how this wikileak guy gets these millions of pieces of data and communications.

Doesn't the USA have any encoding or technology to guard their 'secrets' if they must have secrets..?

How does such large volumes of this classified stuff get released or discovered outside of our secrecy culture..?

Are those with secrets going to tighten up their loose knots eventually..?

IG...How do you figure all this classified info gets cut loose in the first place...just one PFC letting it out....?  Somebodies are not doing their collective job...for some reason.
..TM7

TM;    Fact is, I agree with you in that there is just too much here to have all come from one , single PFC.  There must be more leakers, and they should be hunted down, exposed and tried by military courts-martial. Such an act is TREASON, if they are an American citizen and ESPIONAGE if they are not...both candidates for a bullet.
This may surprise you, but I am not disgusted with Secy of state Clinton for what may be in the affected communications, because unless somebody lives on an alien planet, they must realize nations have intelligence operating at all times and gather just such info.
The fault lies with her due to the old adage "the buck stops here"; being head honcho of such, if the stuff gets out... it's her fault.

Something to think about with all the DeptState documents - Obama has already toured the world several times apologizing to everyone for everything and telling everyone is sight that the US isn't anything special.  BUT...this all places SecState Clinton in a bad light.

Hmmm.....a mid-term election that pretty much makes Obama a one term lame duck, and now, at the start of the maneuvering for the 2012 campaign we have a trumped up scandal (after all, who other than the kumbyah pantie wetters think that diplomacy isn't a dirty, nasty game) that makes Obama's most likely strong rival look bad.
