« on: November 29, 2010, 01:01:22 PM »
I need reloading data for 12 ga Herters 1/2" x 1 1/2 oz unslit one piece plastic wad and shotcup.
Could someone send me a copy of Herters reloading data?

I am also looking for 12 ga shotshell reloading data for Alcan AL-8 powder.
Thanks,

I have a Herters shotshell manual that I can e-mail -- need an address. Also have a fair amount of Alcan data, but I have to hand-copy that. Anything specific you need?

Great, I would like to get some Herters shotshell wad reloading data.
...Maybe AL-8 is in one of the recipies.
Thank you for the reply,
I have sent my e-mail address.

If you see a 12 ga recipe for AL-8 with "current' wads.  That would work
1 1/8 oz to 1 7/8 oz

I have a recipe for AL-8 in 44 mag so the powder will get used.

I just discovered I still had a near-full bag of Herters CHALICE wad.  I'm interested in the data as well.  My email is on my profile.

Never did like the Chalice Wads.

The booklet should be in your inbox.

Cornell University has reprints of many old catalogs and gun related items.I remember seeing something about Alcan in their reloading reprints. You might try there for the information that you seek.
