Why such hatred for those with a different belief than you?
You profess to be a Christian but display none of the characteristics of one. You call Muslims godless ones when in fact your own religion states that there is but one God and he is the God of ALL so how the world can they be godless..? Just the hatred in your heart for so many others is anit-christian... wake up and grow up. God  is God choose the path you want to take to him and ignore the morons along the way who tell you there is only one way to get there.

That being said you claim to be a patriot but again display none of the characteristics that most expect to see from one. You will not question the official story of the event that is the basis for which we have lost so much and ridicule and attempt to degrade anyone who does. You are ready willing and more than eager  to allow the government to lie to us, steal from us and destroy our Constitutional Rights. And you are for damn sure more loyal to Israel than you are America so I say we all pitch in and get PM a plane ticket to Israel... what say you...

Matt. I take it then that you and tm see nothing wrong with promoting aetheism ?????A non belief in God??? Pl tm sure jumped in to agree with you, as usual. You may acknowledge God but apparently know little about him. You choose not to believe, your choice and your loss, not mine.
Yes, there is but one God. I call the muslims godless because they base their beliefs on the rantings of a murdering child rapist named mohamed. He preached nothing but hatred, death, and intolerance  of all who would not bow down to him. The real God is kind, loving and forgiving, nothing like what the muslims see. Therefore I call them godless because the God they worship, as seen through the eyes of mohamed,  does not exist. Mohamed was a false prophet, and islam a false religion. Salvation is available to all, no matter what cult they are, but they must accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, repent of their sins, and reject their old ungodly ways. Every convert to islam, or any of the other cults throughout the world is a soul lost to satan himself, and I hate to see him win even ONE, that billboard promotes a lie, thats why I posted it.
I love my country and it hurts me to see America turn her back on Gods people and extend the hand of friendship to the devils cult, muslims.
YES, I'd love to visit old Jerusalem and walk where Jesus walked but theres no way I would fly and my health might not allow me a trip like that, but thanks for the kind thoughts. Charlie.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Where do you draw the line Powderman? As a patriot one has to support the first amendment which allows the billboard. I don't like it either but it is America and their right to post the billboard.

guzzi. I never said they didn't have the right, they do. I was simply pointing out that satan is alive and well, as evidenced by that billboard. Ask yourself this, what is their agenda in posting something like that if it's not to encourage non belief??? POWDERMAN.  ??? ???

...but Jesus did say he has many flocks....many ways.

As a Christian I have to disagree with this statement, TM.

Biblically speaking, here is what Jesus really said about himself, and the path to Heaven:

Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Mat 7:14  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

As a Christian, I would be remiss were I to fail to point this out.  The new age belief is that there are many ways to Heaven, but the Bible is rather clear that such is not the case.  Of course, if you don't believe in the Bible you'll draw your own conclusions.  I have a relative that believes in everything from Christianity to Wicca, so I'm no stranger to the modern trend.  It's a 'feel good' belief system; you set your own boundaries and no matter what, a kind and compassionate God will not let harm come to you in the afterlife.  Pah!  Read some more and discover the truth.

  TM says;
  In reality...there are very few true Christians, true muslims, true buddhists,,,,maybe few human beings for that matter, etc,,,but Jesus did say he has many flocks....many ways.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    TM..
  That statement you made above is one made by certain cults, such as Bahai and others..in an attempt to legitimize their efforts. As Avyctes said, there is indee only ONE WAY..according to Jesus Himself. (John 14:6)
   Of course the athiests can put up anything they want and you can believe anything you wish, that's the beauty of America..up until recently, but perhaps a bright day is dawning for 2012 ! In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see a glorius day before then...but it will leave many here bewildered, wondering what's happened.
      Believe as you want, but I believe Jesus would use the tax man's phrase; "you can deal with me now, or see me in court later".
The verse in my Bible (KJV -- original)for John 14:6 reads as follows:
"Jesus saith unto him,'I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me.'"
My Bible also provides some additional info I will share with you:
"The word truth is used in Scripture in two ways: true as contrasted with false, and genuine when contrasted with unreal.   Although both apply to God, when we speak of the truth of God, normally His genuineness is contrasted with false gods of other religions.   The Scriptures in this sense declare Him 'the only true God' (John 17:3).   Illustration: When Elijah confronted the prophets of baal on MOunt carmel, he challenged them to evaluate the genuineness of the Lord and of Baal (1 Kin. 18:21).   The true God answered by Fire.   Application: Because the Lord is God, we are obligated to Him in all demands. (First Reference, Deut. 32:4; Primary Reference, John 14:6; cf. Acts 17:31.)"
I think the truth of the matter is now obvious to all.   The Lord is God, and those who do not believe do not inherit Heaven.  No surprises on that acct.
It perplexes me to see how so many use the Constitution as a defense against Christianity.
Then they attempt to use God's word to defend the Constitution.
But what really amazes me is when one attempts to use God's word to defend religions that do not believe in God.
Snatching phrases out of context from the Bible just to prove your point puts you foolishly close to false testimony.
Or is that you think God is restrained by the words of men?
You folks can argue all you want in pms about who has the "True God" but the fact is our Constitution is clear that each has the right to choose their own path and all those of you who push your beliefs on others are in fact contradicting the spirit of our Constitution. Freedom of religion is pretty clear to me and deserves the respect of all those who enjoy it. If you can't respect the right of others to believe the way they want without degrading them and pushing your  belief then in my opinion you do not deserve the right to choose either. It is also my opinion that religion is a big part of what is wrong with the world today and has lead to a lot of our problems here in the US. Until such a time that the world as a whole is able to respect the beliefs of each other I think it would be best if everyone just kept it to themselves... JMO
  I support what you just said Matt. I would not try to "push" Christian beliefs on anyone. When a discussion comes up, I often feel compelled to chime in with my $.02,  but other than that, I am a great believer in "free will". When asked, I can furnish the criteria, but ultimately it is each person's free will to act upon it or not.
   Jesus said "Behold, I stand at the door and knock"...he never said... "I will break the door down and come in and get you" .. he never said he was going to bind and shackle people to his church.
    He did say things such as "ye must be born again" ...with the rest to be tacitly understood. To complete: ... " Ye must be born again"...if you want to end up in Heaven...
Christianity is a lonely and hard path for the world to follow.  It requires sacrifices that 90 out of 100 are not willing to accept.
A Christian, by his mere testimony, can put himself in jepardy with his family, community, and nation.   Jesus Christ himself was crucified.  His diciples were be-headed, drug to death, stoned.  A church was rounded up and boiled in a vat of hot oil, only John the Revelator lived to tell about it.  And that was the beginning of Christianity.  No wonder the saying....... " and few there be that find the way to eternal life. "...........
Mark 10:21  Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Luke 9:23  And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Matt. I force myself on nobody. Theres a big difference between forcing ones religion and pointing out dangers wrongs, and sinful behaviour. God gave us all free will. We are free to choose right or wrong, we can be moral or immoral, and most importantly we are free to choose Heaven or hell. We DO have a choice and most assuredly there is a Heaven, just as there is a hell. It's the biggest and most important decision in our lives. I like to see people well informed with the truth before they decide for themselves where they will spend eternity. I'm not forcing my beliefs on you, or anybody else. Ou pastor said one Sunday that he'd hate to think anybody went to hell and asked theirself, why didn't somebody tell me??? We should all choose wisely. POWDERMAN.  :( :( :( :( :( :(
Oh! But you do try to force your beliefs on others.You take quotes from the Bible to try and make a point, but when others do it you say they are taking it out of context!
"Winston Churchill said", ("A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject".) By either description the fanatic displays very strict standards and little tolerance for contrary ideas or opinions. This is the way you come across to me and some others on the forum. Fanaticism is a curse.......Be  they Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish or Christian fanatic's. I choose to be a Christian, although I quit organized religion some time back.
I chose to worship in my own way. It's a very personal thing between me and my God.
    NW hunter, Dukkillr;
  I can understand that you may not agree with Powderman and may not like what he tells you...but where is FORCE involved ? We have some interesting  discussions and repartee here which often gets "spirited"... However, you will find it difficult to prove to me that Powderman ever exerted any FORCE on anyone here.
   Many use Bible verses and discount others proffered verses..you can take-it-or-leave-it...no FORCE there !
  Now, if what you mean by FORCE is trying by mere words to convince others to accept one's own ideas and opinions, I submit that we nearly are ALL guilty of that !
   If you mean by FORCE, presenting documentation to bolster a position; again , most of us share that same guilt...so that cannot be the case...
    Which leaves the only possible definition of FORCE,  as physically forcing a person to do something they are unwilling to do !
      If  you insist that is the case; I would like to see your evidence of how Powderman physically FORCES anyone to do anything through cyber-space.. ;) :D
Well, here I go after I told myself I wasn't going to get into anymore of these. Just a few points that bother me. First, the First Amendment is about the GOVERNMENT not being able to tell you what religion you must follow it has nothing to do with individuals telling you about their beliefs, other than protecting their right to free speech so that they can tell you about it. Second, being able to quote a Bible verse or two means very little, even the Devil used scripture when trying to tempt Christ. Lastly, I can never understand why folks get so upset over religion. Live the best way that you can find. If you are right and end up in heaven good for you, if there is no heaven then you still lived a good life, and if your choices land you in hell it was by your own doing and no ones fault but your own.
I actually think that's better hall of fame material.
It's a liberal notion that to voice ones views, particularly religious ones, is the use of force. That notion is the threat to the 1st amendment. Thank God we live in a country where I can think whatever I want, and it express it at the top of my lungs ... and so can you. I figure folks who tell others to keep their faith personal don't understand the constitution at all. And re: the billboard. God's a Big Boy; He can take it.
I resolved not to even venture here---God made me do it---literally!
God is a big boy and words don't hurt Him---now, as a word of caution---your words against God can cause you a great deal of misery.
God is always---with a perfect mind and character.
He knows His---Knows who they are and every hair on their body.
Christ said he was God---keep reading the gospel of John.
He said no one, that does not believe this, will enter into eternal life with Him. This is not a reasoned belief--it is a given faith--a gift.
You believe in one God---That is good---I never knew you.
The point of the original was to give information---some have read this information and it offends their core---their ability to no believe.
Personally I believe the scriptures say that you, the ones that do not believe, cannot believe.
You take your unbelief before God and you will surely die--is the way scripture paints the picture and tells the story.
You cannot serve two masters---Salvation is not fire insurance.
God warns about a reasoned faith for we are not able to reason God---He is beyond and above our reasoning.
Blessings
