Why is it when a Christian is offended by something and speaks out the first amendment is mentioned, but when someone complains about Christianity or a Christian symbol offending them it has to be stopped or removed.
In Pennsylvania, a public school set up what they believed would be a completely non-offensive seasonal scene that included a Nativity scene, a menorah, and a Kwanza scene—to respect everyone's beliefs. The school principal ordered the manger scene removed but allowed the other items to remain. Why is it that only Christianity, is deemed to be an offensive religion. While all others can do what ever they want and nothing is said. If the billboard said something like “give your life to Christ and live for eternity” how long do you really think it would stand?
What about Christmas? Anymore Christ is replaced by the fat guy in a red suit. The term Merry Christmas is being done away with, and terms like Happy Holidays, and Sparkle season are taking it place. Ever notice how hard it is anymore to find Christmas cards that actually say Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas is not used by many merchants for fear of offending someone, but it is the very celebration of Christ’s birth that they are making money on. Many want to make Jesus a myth just like their santa.
The same people that mention the first amendment when it comes to pornography or something offensive to a Christian, are silent when it comes to your or my child being able to carry a Bible to school. Or say a silent prayer in school, or wear a tee shirt that says Jesus saves. We even have some public schools that pass out Koran’s to students for class. It is being forced on students to read it by calling it a text book, explaining the cultural distinctions of Islam. Bring a Bible to school, forget it. That is to offensive to some. It is more acceptable to carry a playboy to school than a Bible.
Christ is slowing being removed from society. It started shortly after the United Nations was formed. Its also when we had several Supreme Court decisions in 1947 and 48 that began the attack on Christianity.
Was this nation not built on the principles that freedom, liberty and human rights are an inherent gift from God? Now we are banning the Lord of Hosts from all public places because the master utopia planners know that a one world religion can not be formed as long as Biblical Christianity exists in any form. Once God is successfully erased from America those inherent God given rights given to all Americans by the Constitution will become conditional rights that may or may not be granted, by the utopians of the new world order. Personal liberty of the majority will not be protected in this new society, but rather the special rights of an elitist minority.
The globalists know that world government could never be achieved as long as nationalism remained part of the bedrock of American belief. And, they were convinced that as long as God remained part of the character molding of children, patriotism and nationalism could never be shattered. Jesus does have to be reduced to a myth for this to happen, and its exactly what the billboard is implying. I agree totally that the billboard should be legal. It’s the atheists right, but its also the right of Christians to put up whatever signs they want to. Anymore that is not the case. The ACLU and other human rights groups are playing a major role in the purge of the Christian God.
