JS,

Search for Numrich Gun Parts and then at their website pick H&R as the manufacturer and search for breech plug.  I was looking at this site today and I believe I saw they offer the breech plug wrench as well as a number of older H&R breech plugs.  If you need primer carriers I think H&R still has them and Budsgunshop.com is selling them too.  I'll let someone else tell you to replace your H&R plug with a banned site plug. ;D

Thanks for the info.
I have a different breech plug for the barrel but I need a wrench to remove the H&R plug. I had an extra wrench a couple of years ago but gave it to someone that requested one here.

get a drag link socket at a local auto parts store

Better yet, take your barrel up to your local auto repair shop and see if they might have a drag link socket buried in one of their tool trays.

Thank You for the responses. I look at some on ebay and elsewhere but couldn't see one that was 7/8. Do they come in this width?

the wrench is universal.  You could also take the barrel to a local gun shop.  I bet they have one lying around to get it out.  If you do not plan to use the plug, why invest in one?
