Me and my buddie's bucks

We had a pretty good firearms season.  3 deer a piece for a total of 6. 1 buck and two does a piece.  

My buck (nothing special, but I'm no trophy hunter):


My buddie's Buck around 127" 9pt:


Time for the Muzzle Loader season this weekend.....
It's all a hot mess...........

Nice.  My son and I took 6 deer off the property we have hunted for the last 30 yrs.  He's coming up for a ML hunt, next week.  I really don't need to cap another deer, unless we decide to can one[which is being discussed].

LOL, we did some "photography trickery" when I took the photo of my bud's 127"  I was laying flat on the ground with my camera pointing up at an angle towards him and if you look, you can see that he has his arm all the way extended.  I couldnt believe the photo came out like it did.  While the deer was a nice 3.5yr old, it freaking looks like a mule deer in the pic.  needless to say, he had that photo made into an 8 x11" and put on his living room wall....... ;D
