45-70 barrel on hr shotgun

i have a 45-70 barrel it fits on my old 410 hr shotgun would it be safe to shoot

H&R won't fit 45-70 barrels to shotgun frames, but the Model 155 H&R Shikari 45-70 came on a cast iron shotgun type frame, it was limited to trapdoor loads only. It depends on how old your shotgun is, what's the serial number prefix letter(s) on the shotgun frame?
