eddiegjr ~  I use 1 Tbl honey, 1 Tbl Vinegar in 8-10 oz of water, fresh each morning.

8-10 ounces !  I don't know, I may try it , but I think I'd rather get it over with in one Tbsp gulp....

Well now, growing old gracefully is a state of mind.
I know folks older than me that get around better than I and conversly I get around better than some younger.
You are what you are--accept that getting older means just that---getting older.
Acceptance of reality eases the mind.

The worst part of getting old, is getting old. I just noticed I used to run into old friends I hadn't seen for awhile at the local saloon.  Now it seems that I run into them at the doctors office.

Hey Guys:  I don't know if it's the Vinegar or not, but my hands are already looking better (less swelling) and I can actually close my fists.  Done some tree work yesterday, and just knew that my hands would puff up and ache by this morning, but that didn't happen.  So - Far - So - Good !

powderman;  Didn't make it to Kroger's, and ended up with the wrong kind.  It's filtered.  Didn't catch it till I took the 1st dose.  Krogers is way out from here, but there's a health food store nearby, I'll check with them.  Never knew there was so many kinds of Vinegar.  ;D ;D

The facts are this.  Pardner if you are over 50 years old and you wake up some morning without any aches or paines.  You most likely passed away some time during the night.

FOURBEE. The vinegar I take  I buy at Kroger. Raw, UNFILTERED, apple cider vinegar, dark of course. Another heart patient told me that his doc reccomended this particular vinegar, brand doesn't matter but it should be the raw unfiltered variety. The brand I got from Kroger is, BRAGG. I give the btl a shake and pour a tbs or so in a glass with enough water to make it palatable then gulp it down all at once, I never measure, just pour. My biggest problem is remembering to take it. Grandma never had any allergies. The honey she took was from local hives. Honey from local hives is supposed to be the best for allergies  because the bees polinated the same weeds and such as you are around every day. No beekeepers around here anymore. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

powderman:  Got a pt. of BRAGG organic Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar today with a 'Flyer from Patricia BRAGG'.   The Clerk says they sell it by the pint, quart, and gallon.  That might have been a 'PUN'.  But said to take a TBsp w/water 1-3 times a day.

Hey All:  It's been over a month since I started taking Vinegar for my old arthritic hand.   Finally got hold of the full flavored  ??? Braggs kind.   Boy it's mild compared to what we have in the kitchen cabinet, but it gets worse as time goes on, unfortunatly.

After a couple of weeks taking a dose daily the pain and swelling began to subside, then it flared back up for a few days.  Today other than a little tightness in one of the knuckles, the pain is gone as is the swelling.   Now after that flare-up, I have to admit, I began to do some serious talking with our Almighty.  I think a lot of folks fall in that catagory as well.

So, at this point I'm still hittin the bottle so to speak, (Yuk)  :P .   Next trip to the store, I'll get another bottle of it for good measure. ;D ;D

I have arthitis in my spine, knees, shoulders, elbows and hands.  The spine and hands are the worse.  I was taking Glucosomine and Condrotin tablets, and they were helping.  I did not like the high dose of sodium I was getting.

Skyler had a knee injury and the doctor perscribed the same tablets for him to help with his knee.  His Physical Therapist recommended he try a drink that contains the same dosage only without the sodium.  The drink is called "Elations", and he and I both drink it.  We have noticed a differance.  The drink comes in three differant flavors, it gets a bit bitter after a while so I switch flavors.

I get Elations at Wal-Mart, Safeway does not carry it.
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Here it is June already.   I've been off the bottle for a couple of months now.  Swelling in my knuckles is completely gone, as is the pain.   I've been running the chainsaw with no problems what-so-ever.   SO, does the vinager work?  Well; something worked.  After the swelling and pain subsided to minimal agatation, I quit taking the dailyl dose, and really didn't notice when I was completely healed.

Yep, it works well huh? Bad news is it will come back, good news is the vinegar will work then too ;D I keep it around so when the itis gets bad I start taking my vinegar again. I should take it anyway. There are some other benefits to the vinegar but I can't remember what they are ::) Anyway congrats on the beatdown you gave old Arthr!
