Ohhh Boy, you are likely going to be very disappointed... I was in your shoes a couple months ago, although I was hunting in CO and it's legal there to at least use the 209's. I went through several different conicals and powders trying to find something that shot some what decent out of my Encore. Sory to say none did... I ended up using CCI 209, 130 grains of Blackhorn 209 and 250gr Thors. The best I could do was get into deer sized vitals at 150yds, not happy... I used to use the 25acp before trying the Blackhorn and primarily used T7, but hated the crud ring. Blackhorn is all I will use from now on, but it doesn't work well with the 25acp. Unfortunately the Encore throws terrible conicals, nearly everyone agrees on that, if you primarily hunt in Idaho, I would sell the barrel and buy something that does... That same gun with the same amount of Blackhorn will shoot 3 Barnes TEZ 290 sabot's through the same hole at 100yds and fist sized groups at 300, in Wisconsin we can use sabots or the barrel would be gone already. if I go out west again, it will be with a different gun.
