Do any of the Kwik-Site see-thru two-piece scope mounts fit the KP1 muzzleloader barrel? The idea of being able to use the open sights is nice, and Kwik-Sites can be bought for a lot less than the Talley mount. Plus, the Kwik-Sites are tall, and might lessen the hammer-cocking clearance problem. The description on MidSouth says 'KWIK-SITE MOUNTS KNIGHT FLAT TOP RECEIVER 1" KWIK-SITE SEE THRU MOUNT.'
I was reading about the KP1 problems, but the price is sooooo low ($275), I thought I'd try my first Knight ML. It should be in the mail this week. Hoping I don't have the trigger or misfire problems I've seen on this forum!
