I'm honestly not sure if they are gone for good or only temporarily. The contract runs thru end of year. We did nothing to make them go away but they stopped. I really don't know why.

I have notified them we're not renewing the contract on them at the end of this year. It could be they won't bother to fix whatever changed on their end as a result. But if they come back it's only until the end of this month.

For now we really don't know why they stopped popping but aren't arguing about it either.

I'll second (or maybe third) that it's refreshing to not have the pop ups, even if it's only for a brief respite.  Though I've become quite adept at clicking the "Close" buttons, I have been looking forward to the end of the year when they're permanently gone.

I have Ad-block plus too, but I always visit this site with IE.  Some people may wonder why I keep using both IE and Firefox.  I wonder the same thing...

Ad-block plus is a free add-on to Firefox.

 Has anyone else had a problem with these (pop up) ad banners when viewing this site via a mobile device? When the banner pops up on the screen they are shifted to the right and I am unable to access the "close" (see below).  The rest of the website is centered and there is no problem with that. But, not being able to close the ad sometimes allows it to cover a lot of text so I am unable to read it.

 I have not had a problem with the ads using any other computer just the mobile. Maybe, I'm just missing something.... Anyway, it was a nice break from the ads.

 *** I guess, I should mention that on the mobile device where ever the ad pops up is where it stays. I doesn't just stay at the bottom of the screen.

Beyond suggesting you review the support forum for a fix for the mobile, the only other suggestion I can offer is if your mobile can use it install Mozzilla Firefox.  Then install Firefox ad-block plus.  You may not want or may not be able to do that, but that is an option.

To get the ad bloc you will have down load it from the  ad-on menu.

Intoodeep, I have that same situation on my computer. The ad is shifted right and fixed so it doesn't scroll. I can't reach the close button on it. I just refresh the page or scroll up and read what I want to read and be done with it and move on.

I got an e-mail today from OSH acknowledging the problem was theirs and that the pop ups should be back soon. I'm seeing the dashboard ad about four times now before it goes away which is as it was before. I've not yet seen the video which is for most the more annoying of the two. Either way it's only until the end of year.
