Oh Cannon Tree
« on: December 05, 2010, 12:35:35 PM »
As I was looking through ebay one afternoon, I came across an item that was listed as a "Cannon Christmas Ornament".  Now I am not stupid enough to think that this was an actual ornament.  It was just some crappy old die cast toy cannon that someone had put a red ribbon on.

As I looked at that poor pathetic ornament, I started to feel sorry for it.  So I paid the $2 and $4 shipping.  It now hangs in a place of honor on a old lighted fake tree we hangup on our dinning room wall.

So everyone fetch your favorite beverage and sing along with me:

Oh cannon tree, oh cannon tree.
How lovely your artillery

Happy Holidays!!!!

An ordna•ment!
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.
