Forend screw / sling swivel?

does anyone know if there is a forend screw that doubles as a sling swivel as seen on the Rossi rifles?  i kinda like that feature when swapping barrels in the field.  i have an SB2 in 22 hornet and .243.

Waiting to see if I can get a 35 whelen barrel for it!

My Savage 99 has a screw like this. I think that this would be a good part far the aftermarket to step in with a screw, as it would be pretty basic. I like barrel bands on these also, as the lug looks like its kind of a weak attachment. The barrel band also lets you get the muzzle down quite a bit further when you carry it.

+1 on the barrel bands.....I hate the thought of the forestock lub coming loose and a gun drop.
However, if one want to go that way there are the proper thread, knurled head screws that some have used for quick take down; and I think Uncle Mikes has a machine screw thread (#8 or 10x32?) sling swivel stud available. The knurled head screw can be easily drilled/tapped to the stud threads, fit it all up and you're done.

FWIW, I feel the normal spot the factory put's the sling swivel leaves a rather uncomfotable balance for carry to begin with, moving it back that extra 1 1/2"s would make it more so.

That too!, yes, I find the rifle wants to slide down and hang horizontal with that stud position. Still, it does let you sling it if need be. They 'hang' about right with the buttstock up, though.
