Found some of my deer problems.
« on: December 05, 2010, 03:55:16 PM »
Well due to the wife havin to work yesterday (had to work a little and watch my 3 kids as well) went out huntin this morn and saw some fresh deer tracks went to the stand and sat there until late morning. Didn't see a deer a one so I got down and went back to where I saw the tracks and started to followed them for a short time, mixed in with them where coyote tracks after about 800yds or so I fig the coyotes are keepin the deer runnin all over out of my little neck of the woods. About time to switch over and take care of a few of them.

I say ya give 'em a taste of blackpowder. That way you don't get caught without the BP gun when one of your deer come to visit.

Thanks, Dinny

That is an issue down here as well. But I think the boy and a couple neighbors and myself are fixing to work on that ;)

Dinny no need to worry, go out after dark set up my call and climb into my tree stand and let the old .204 Ruger (yeap its a Handi) do the talkin for me. It has not let me down yet drops them in there tracks.

Sounds like a good plan. I bet a nice green laser light would make it all that much easier. ;) LOL

Thanks, Dinny
