left hand slide release button for Glock 27
« on: December 27, 2002, 04:01:31 PM »
:D   Dennis & Ace.  There is a SLIDE STOP,and a mag release, located at this point.  The first is over the second.  I take it that is the mag release cause that is the only thing touching my finger when I shoot left handed.  Sooooooooooooooooooooo,  If it bothers ya,get a slip on pachmeyer grip, and that should stop the problem.  Just dont ferget to cut the rubber grip out from around the mag release.  King
THE ONLY FEMALE THAT I TRUST IS A LABRADOR.......AND SHE DONT SNOORE,AND DONT COMPLAIN ABOUT MY COOKING...THE ONLY GODS THAT EXIST ARE THOSE THAT HAVE ONE IN THE CHAMBER,AND 19 IN THE MAG.......

left hand glock shooting

I use to have a problem with the magazine release digging into my middle finger when firing the glock left handed. I carry a glock both on and off duty, and being left handed I just HAD to come up with a way to fix this. Here is what I did. I removed the magazine release from the frame, with an X-acto knife I cut off the lower rear corner of the release at a 45% angle. I reinstalled the mag release. Done! It's that simple and now I don't even notice the release is there (unless I handle someone else's Glock). I have never had a problem with the releasing the mag. And I made sure that our armorer was OK with it.
