got a new old stock cva hawken

i traded a single shot 16 gauge for it . it needs a new tumbler and had a crack that i repaired . i do wish my pistol was a .50 instead  of a .44 . weird thing is it has a offset hammer for scope use but is not D/T for scope , which is to bad because i found a williams receiver sight for it for $15 . i may try and trade that pistol for a .50 .

Thats a nice looking pair! Have you looked into getting the pistol bored out to .50 cal? I don't know if it would be possible with that gun. I think the barrels outer diameter is the deciding factor.

Thanks i had wanted a percussion lock rifle for a while .  the barre od is to small for that , and im too poor for it too lol . its not really a big deal , if i ever find a left handed holster i like for it i would get a small pouch on the belt for loads for it it keep things separate .

Dixie Gun Works has a cross draw holster for about $22.

It would be easy (and cheaper) to make if you have some scrap leather.

problem is i cant find a left hand holster , i see right hand ones frequently on on-line muzzle loader shops .
