FA Serial Dating

Hi,
New to the board and new to Freedom Arms, i am.
Got my first F.A. M83 in .454 Casull yesterday (in almost new condition) and will try it this weekend on the range.
Is there some place where i can find the manuf.date of the gun from its serial (D184xx)?

 Welcome to the forum and congrats on the FA. I have a Mod 83 that was shipped from the factory on Sept 2004 and the serial # is D195XX so that info may give you a ballpark number. A phone call to the lady at FA may net you an exact date.
