I am ready to head upstate tomorrow morning for the last few days of rifle and head into B/P season.I like the late season only because there is no one in the woods were I hunt and what deer are left after the regular gun season have to move to eat to get threw the long winter.I hunted last year and took a doe on opening morning with my flinter.I have a few tags left I would like to fill at least 2 of them .

I'm getting ready to go out this weekend- uncle, brother, cousin, + buddy. Should be 5 of us for 2-3 days with several tags to fill. Lots of deer still around in 7J. Hope not too much snow

Good luck to you both. I'll be out too. Love that late season smokepole hunting. Hopefully there is at least some snow in 4F. Something about late season ML and snow. They go together nicely!
