Optima Elite barrel

Now that CVA has abandoned the OE, I have been looking for the barrels I want. The only thing I am missing now is a 45-70 one. Waited to get one, because I wanted a 222 barrel, now I can't find one. If anyone knows where one might be located, let me know. I'd really like to have one. Thanks, Billy

Thre is a 45/70 and a 308 listed on gunbroker.com.

What is the difference in an OE barrel and the Apex barrel?

I dunno, but CVA says they are not interchangeable.

as i suspected.  thanks for the verification.

i only recently became somewhat familiar with the CVA line up.  Saw the scout and took delivery of a .308 apex.  i have since added a 7-08 barrel.
