 Got a letter yesterday from them saying they will call on me within a week or so to ask questions conserning ages, employment status, and occupations of members of the household, as well as other related information. Anyone else get one of these? They say they have selected my address and about 55,000 others

They called my house saying they wanted the same thing.  The wife told them they needed to talk to me.  Then she said, He's just going to tell you NO.  Don't expect them to call back.

I cut them short when they ask beyond number of persons and ages and occupation. Tell them all that info is already on file at other gooberment agencies and refuse.

Only a very foolish person would ansewer any questions like those over the phone . Ask them to show federal ID . I know they can't over the phone ! which means you don't have a clue who you are talking to  ;).
Hang up ! And call the police if you have Caller ID copy down the number if the number didn't show up why did you ansewer ? Always count the numbers as some display an extra number . Clever they try to be.
