If this photo can be seen well I'll show off a bit.
This looks like a common 6-Pt "basket-buck" but its really an "ugly-rack" 9-Pt!
It had several little 1-inch spikes sticking out at odd angles.
A good one to cull/kill.
Of course, I didn't know all that when I squeezed the trigger.
The short version is that I caught him following a couple of doe.
I'm sure he was thinking about fornication and received a
Death Sentence for having impure thoughts!
(Beware the "Thought Police!)
A lo-power 475 caliber hole punched through both lungs and he conceded the argument about 60-yards later.
I stepped off 24 steps from my seat to where he stood for the shot.
No more ugly progeny from this beast!
