Health Care and Va.
« on: December 14, 2010, 04:49:58 AM »
Well it seems that Va. has gained an opening to at least have the HC bill checked as to being legal. A good start. Hope this will be the start of the end of such BS. It is not about HC its all about freedom .

It is good. I believe the Florida case that 20+ states have aligned with goes before the court for oral arguments on Thursday.

Judge Hudson should have excused himself, not that it would have probably made any difference but would have looked better.

I disagree its time we do the legal thing not the PC thing. Besides its about freedom not health care per se. If it was about HC it might be different , but its about people being forced to buy federal mandated /run HC.

The website site says a consulting firm; he has no direct stake.   look at the name of the website, there has to be a serious slant.   I seriously doubt there is an ethics issue.  The proponents of Obamacare are grasping at straws because their pet legislation is about to be gutted like a fish.    our AG Bill MCollum feels confident the judge in Florida will agree with the VA decision.  If so, the perceived ethics issue becomes moot, IMO.   However, I am no attorney.

Our AG Bill McCollum was on FNC last night with Great Van Susteren.  He feels confident that the judge will issue a decision concurrent with the VA judge. After all, the Feds cannot force us to buy health insurance any more than they can compel us to buy broccoli.   The judge promised to rule ASAP but likely will take about 30 days.
