Actually the Commander In Chief did a great job on the USS Bainbridge vs pirates situation.  He let the captain of the Bainbridge make the calls.  Rumsfeld & Cheney would have micromanaged the situation from the White House, and the pirates probably would have captured the Bainbridge.

       Yes; somehow with the Bainbridge, Obama stepped out of the way and let the military do it's job. Now if he will just do the same in Afghanistan...that is, just step out of the way and let the military go ahead and kick butt.
