It arrived on Monday. Took it out Tues. and Today for some paper punching. Fed it several types. 357mag 158gr JSP, 38 spec 130gr FMJ and 38 spec 158gr LRN.
What a blast. It jammed a few times, mostly when i was looking at it to see if it would jam. Seemed to do best with the round nose bullets and when I just ran the lever thru with out going easy on it. Was not a problem and I expect it to get better. I didnt adjust the sights yet but it was still very close to dead on. My order of "Grace USA" screw drivers just got here so Ill play with them tommorow. With the weight at 8.68 lbs I shot pretty good off hand but still cant focus on the rear sight with my old eyes. Therefore I ordered the "Skinner" peep sight. I use NECG peeps on other rifles and they are great for old eyes. AND, I ordered the Henry Big Loop so my hand can fit in the loop. After all this gets installed I will post some fotos and give a range report. My ammo dealer said it was going up 10 percent so I stocked up. Does any body know where one can find 357mag 125-158 FMJ,,,,,,,,,,,thanks. dave
