Lawrence County Pigs

Work with guy that had two pictures of pigs they killed last weekend in the Leesville area on the East side of Lawrence County.

Guess they do exist down here.  I know a lot of you had asked about actual sightings.

Can he send you pics? Do you have any other details? Were they feral, farm-raised, wild, etc?

Not sure I have all those answers.  Someone in my office had the pictures and the guy that shot them works somewhere else on base.  I will try to get those answers.

They looked liked your basic feral hog to me.

I thought you were soon to be an OKie. Don't they have pigs in OK?

I think they have a lot of things to hunt there but not sure.

Some of the pictures I've seen from there looked like good country. Don't know what parts the pics were from. Good Luck!

I will never be a true Okie, just a temporary 3 year resident, kinda. I'm keeping my IN driver's license for deer season back home. ;) There are lottsa hogs in that area and I hope to find a few of them in my crosshairs every year. I hope ya'll get an opportunity to hunt hogs in IN, they are a smart, cunning animal that is worthy of your attention to detail.

I've been there a few times back when I was a part-timer (reservist :-X). Lottsa turkeys there!
