Couger Attack in Huntsville Area
« on: December 16, 2010, 11:30:46 AM »
I saw a piece on the news a couple weeks ago concerning a supposed cougar attack in the Huntsville area where the attacked gallantly fought the cougar off with a knife.  Sounded "sketchy" to me.  Has anyone heard ant follow-up to this story?

I haven't heard anything about it. Several years back I found an article about a cougar along with a photo of a cougar that someone had made with a trail cam that was taken along the river side of Redstone Arsenal.

Here's a link of a news article that a cast of a cougar paw print was made:

I havent heard of it but we hunt bordering Red Stone and I found these a few years ago in a green field.  It is hard for me to believe that any big cats are around there but who knows.
