calibrate your volumetric measuring device and USE IT!

There was one time I didn't do that, just eyeballed my volumetric measuring device.  After I recovered, I discovered that it held half again as much as I had guesstimated.  Yep, instead of 20 oz. (imperial pint) it held 29.5 oz.  So my 3 pints/hour (60 oz) to get and maintain a pleasant buzz, resulted in getting 4.5 pints/hour, which had me fairly schicker after an hour and a half.  And lucky I could find the floor after 3 hours.  Fortunately, it was only a 200 yard walk from home to the party, and I guess about an 800 yard stagger from party to home.

You guys have left out one of the arguments that usually come up in this discussion...a long small diameter measure will give a more accurate measure that a short large diameter measure...have at it.

I had better luck with one that was about as big in diameter as it was deep.

If they are out of Bajuvator, I will settle for Celebrator. It costs more, but it is almost as tasty.

Toxic waste! That kind of wild talk is almost tantamount to blasphemy George; why even medical research scientists are now singing the praises (in moderation - of course) of 'the nectar'.

Well, I don't know that this would really be my second choice if it was in answer to a stranded on a deserted island question, but I've got to sing the praises of a great hometown brewery; Goose Island Beer Co. in Chicago, IL makes a great India Pale Ale.
