Has anyone tried DDG's Dried distillers grains for hog bait?

DDG's are what is left over from the corn used in the distilation process in making ethanol. It has a very good beer smell and deer prefer it to corn or soybeans. It is also the base for hog feed in commercial operations here. An added plus is it is cheep.

Why not try some and see.  From the sound of it, I am pretty sure it would attract hogs...which reminds me, I have not been thinking.

I should start attracting the hogs again too.  Since the Trappers took out 450 of 'em, the woods have been practically void of wildlife.  I need to start some gallon milk jugs with corn and water mixed.  This has been a decent attractant in the past.  There is no Distiller's Grain here of which I am familiar.  Only whole kernel or cracked corn.  Maybe try some kool aid in the mix too.

You may attract more hunters than hogs.  ;D
