I can agree to disagree . The don't ask don't tell was just that condoning it, IMHO. To me now what they are saying is you are a soilder what you do off the clock is your business , don't bring non military issues to work. I think than now any improper acts can be delt with . Before if two homosexuals were thought to be doing acts not legal on a base and don't ask don't tell might confuse leadership as to what to do. Now its clear . I keep thinking if you give someone enough rope they will hang themselves . Think about it now they are held to a stricter behavior . Not only that it will be printed in their record. I wonder how many may change their mind when it is included in their history .

PW, how dense are you? I have never denied that their are passages in the bible that address homosexuality as a sin. I have never said I approve of homosexuality. As Christians we do not have the right to hate other individuals, that is what I keep saying and you do not hear. The bible says that we should love our enemies, are you ready to love the muslim terrorists, if not are you not deliberately choosing to sin? In the Old Testament it says that a women should not cut her hair, does your wife cut hers? Are you picking and choosing what parts of the bible you will obey? It boils down to that we are all sinners in one way or the other because we are humans. We can be saved because Jesus died on the cross bearing all of our sins. Glad you were in church last Sunday, so was my wife and I.

Several soldiers said they quit taking their wives and kids along at the clubs because it was embarassing when the kids asked why those 2 men are kissing and why are those 2 women kissing and rubbing all over each other.  I didn't read every post. But I think it is Obuma showing he is supporting the military. We all know how many gay people are not signing up because they can not flaunt their gayness. God will judge we don't need to . I have worked when homosexuals were on the job. They did not act one way or the other. They did their job.   Although I don't often use those terms...don't take them as a genuine threat of anything...more appropriately, they should be considered a form of "comic relief ". I have seen stressful situations on the job where someone has nearly lost their life...then comes the jokes...
   I will unabashedly make jokes about pink M-16s and blue rubber bayonets..have you seen some of their "parades" ?

   My caution to Christians is that by praising this decision or offering support to it or accepting such perversion, you will be making such sins more convienent.... you are in effect, becoming partakers of their sin.

Off base/ship they already do as they wish it seems since many have told me that over seas at some bases or ports there are as many gay boy prositutes as women waiting at the gates and bars . This is just from guys around here who were in Vietnam.  As far as the Navy goes, I read it here on one of the topics.  Some women go to prostitute, some fall in love and get pg.  I think I remember a 25% number of women who get pg.  Some abort, some have their kids.

But one example of the good people who will leave. Dress codes mean nothing. Female soldiers are allowed longer hair than men, the rule changed to accomodate them. My Dad told me that the short hair was to prevent an enemy from being able to get ahold of it in a fight. I'm sure a lot of stuff will be changed to further accomodate these deviates. POWDERMAN.
