Don't know what kind of groups you're expecting from a mdl 19, but mine would shoot pie plate size groups off hand, with any ammo I tried at 20yds. That was quite acceptable to me for that type of weapon. Loved that 19!!!

I was thinking about soft loaded ammo with not a lot of recoil and accurate enough to schoot 2 inch groups at  20 yards.

I know I will be the factor to shoot it but hey I might have a good day! ?

MM,
Never benched mine, but it grouped pretty good with the 115 gr XTPs over 4.2 grs of Bullseye. Check that load against a Hornady manual before loading it. An improved trigger will be a big step in the right direction. I put in a 3.5# connector and a 4# striker spring. That gave me a pretty darn good trigger for a Glock!
