Nice to see that cannons are still permitted . With the current PC attitude I was not sure if you could still make them in school. Nice job on the guns.

It's harder to get a Kewpie from Double D than an "A" from the teacher! These all deserve an "A"! Great work...

Looks like your students are doing well! Nice to see someone is still teaching machining to young people. I hire machinists quite often and while there are still some older craftsmen out there, I really like hiring inexperienced people with a real passion for the work. Hard to come by.

Nice cannons!

Yup!   We get paid (or pay others) to do what most others can't or won't do.

The owners of those (and the rest of the class) are good bunch of guys.  They make my job a pleasure.  Thanks for all the encouragement and kind words.

And a Kewpie, WOW.

I made one in shop back in 197x but even back then they would not let me drill the bore all the way out.

Your pupils did fine work on their Brooke double banded miniatures.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.
